Branding & Packaging
SnugglePedic pillows are one of the top selling brands of pillow on Amazon.They were "Developed by a Chiropractor" and are gladly made in the U.S.A. unlike most memory foam products.
I was tasked with creating all new packaging for the entire product line. The pillows have incredibly high shipping fees and often get marked as “oversized” by Amazon.In order to counteract this, I designed a standard carton that could be used for several SKUs. A one color print on a standard white box was done with a “Product sticker” location marked on the carton to create multiple SKUs.
The original branding had a fun character on the fill bag. That character was updated and injected with more personality to create a fun and playful brand identity. Line illustrations were used on the carton to place the character in his bedroom, and were heavily inspired by premium bedding brands like Casper.


I designed a Universal Care Insert that would work for both adjustable pillows and non-adjustable to reduce the need to print multiple inserts. The graphics and copy tie into the fun and playfulness of the brand. I took the character that was designed, and illustrated him into different sleeping positions continuing with that personality.
ORIGINAL BRANDING
The original branding for SnugglePedic did not make it look like a top-tier and or trusted brand at all. The design, coloring and graphics were more MyPillow than a premium brand such as Casper. Going from an all white box, to dark navy to convey night and sleeping made the brand look inherently more professional and would allow us to potentially increase our prices and increase our margins.
